Ingredients
3 tablespoon Flaxseeds
1 ½ cup Water (Spring Water or Distilled Water)
5 drops Essential Oils (Optional)

Directions
*Makes 8 oz
Combine the flaxseeds and water in a pan.
Heat on medium high, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to medium for 5-10 minutes, or until the mixture becomes frothy, similar to slimy egg whites.
Remove from heat.
Use a strainer, cheesecloth, or coffee filter separate the gel from the seeds as you pour it into a clean jar.
Allow the gel to cool and add essential oils of your choice. Add vitamin E oil or vegetable glycerin for longer shelf life. Mix well.
Store in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks and freeze for 3-6 months.

Freeze the gel after 2 weeks.
